Why The Partnership Came Together
Members of the Partnership formed this alliance because they want to give Americans from all walks of life an easy way to speak out to elected officials and actively support laws and regulations that promote economic growth, job creation, increased prosperity, greater access to public lands, and less government regulation.
The Partnership also came together because of the growing influence of a small but vocal minority of extremist groups that work to undermine economic growth and prosperity. These groups believe that economic growth occur only at the expense of the environment. In sharp contrast, Partnership members know that America can have both economic growth and environmental conservation. We are committed to supporting policies that pursue those intertwined goals.
