What's New!

Welcome to the online headquarters of the Partnership for America, one of America's largest and fastest-growing grassroots alliances of people who believe that America can have both a growing economy and a clean environment.

A lot of very exciting new things are happening at the Partnership.  Here are some of the latest highlights:

The Partnership Welcomes Richard Pombo As Its New National Chair!

Former Congressman Richard Pombo is the Partnership's new National Chair.  After serving seven terms in the U.S. House of Representatives, including be elected as Chair of the powerful House Resources Committee, Pombo will serve as the Partnership's national "ambassador" on the key issues such as maintaining public access to public lands, restoring common sense back into government regulation, promoting economic freedom and private property rights, and promoting more American energy for America.

Grassroots Power Sites Now Available

The Partnership's revolutionary "Grassroots Power Site" (GPS) system is up and running.  Organizations can now get their own high-powered "Take Action" website and make available to their own members one of the nation's most powerful set of issue advocacy tools ever developed.  Find out more and apply for a free GPS site.

Congressional Action May Lead to Next Energy Crisis

With gas prices at record highs and an ever-increasing demand, Congress should not turn back the clock on important steps towards energy independence.  With a recent House Committee vote, members of Congress sided with a small group of radical environmental groups and not with American consumers

Grassroots Runs National Campaign To "Save The Polar Bear"

Extremists groups and lawsuit-hungry lawyers are trying to get the Polar Bear sentenced to the regulatory "jail" of the Endangered Species Act.  Scientists say Polar Bear populations are healthy, but these groups want to subject this magnificent species to the same law that fails to restore troubled species to health in 99 cases of out 100
